Empathy (until page 93)
Say in what ways you wish a character would change/develop or what you would like to happen in the life of some character.
So because
Christopher is the main character in this book I mostly concentrate on his
situation. I think it would make a really sick turn of the story if he would
just be able to realize how people feel. If he didn’t have to deal with the
aspergus syndrome everything would be different and somehow I’m hoping that in
the end he’ll be able to deal with this syndrome a bit better. Also I want him
to really find out who the killer of Wellington is. Because he likes playing a detective
and if he would find out who it was, he would probably be the most happy boy.
After that he should definitely get his A degree in math but he should not go
to study math or physics or math and physics. I think he should try his very
best to become a astronaut. He really deserves to achieve his goals.

Do you mean "sick" in the sense of great / awesome? If yes, it's a very colloquial/informal expression and you have to be aware in the situations you use it. Do you have a lot of contact with English outside of school? Otherwise good entry.
ReplyDeleteYes I wanted to use sick for great. I didn't realize in that moment that I am using it in a Blog entry.. and yes I have some English contact outside of school that's also the reason I like languages a lot. :)
DeleteI understand that, after I came back from the USA I had the same problem :) So I will just remind you whenever I see a use like that, ok? That's great!
